Beneath the layers of colour, texture and botanical details lie pages from an old Swedish law book – part of Yvonne’s mixed media process and a hidden foundation beneath the artwork.
Rich greens, warm orange tones and expressive florals surround the female figure, creating a bold yet dreamlike composition filled with movement, strength and transformation. “Veiled in Bloom” became one of the artworks that opened doors for Yvonne internationally, first being exhibited in Paris before continuing its journey through Europe.
